Set Up the Oven: The first step in baking is to get your oven up to 425°F.
To make the puff pastry, first cut two sheets in half lengthwise. Then, divide each half into three equal rectangles. In the end, you’ll have six parts.
In order to assemble, wet the edges of one rectangle of dough, layer it with some of the cooled apple mixture, and then top it with another rectangle of pastry, this time with slits cut into it. Seal by pressing the edges together. Make six apple parcels by following this procedure again.
Preheat oven to 450°F. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Enjoy this warm, comforting treat—a 3-Ingredient Apple Danish—at its finest when eaten fresh. Put any leftovers in a sealed jar and refrigerate for at least two days. If you want to consume freshly baked pastries, just pop them in the oven for a little while to reheat.
