I miraculously discovered a new flat. My manager at work observed that I was depressed and asked me why. I told him everything. He stated his wife had a vacant house and I could reside there. I was overjoyed, packed my belongings, and moved out.
Suddenly, the landlady of the old flat called me again, saying that the plans had changed and I could stay. I refused. She attempted to persuade me and even decreased the rent (I always paid on time and kept the place clean, which she appreciated). But I still did not agree. I was tossed out like a dog, and now she’s calling me back, which I don’t enjoy. © Ward No. 6 / VK
It turned out it was the landlord’s brother. This fellow used to live here and appears to have decided to spend the night here as he did in the past. He ate all of my chocolates, by the way. This story has left me traumatized for life.

I rented a home. Everything was good until the landlady split up with her boyfriend. She’s already moved some of her belongings to the garage. And now she’s moaning about excessive rent charges.

I urgently needed a place to reside. So I rented a room in a 3-bedroom apartment with two roommates. The landlady strongly told me that no boyfriends were allowed. Fine.
