At least 300 homes are estimated to have been damaged or completely destroyed after a massive fire tore through the affected area, leaving behind scenes of catastrophic destruction and devastation that stunned local residents. The blaze, fueled by unusually strong winds and extremely dry conditions, spread at an alarming pace, rapidly overwhelming entire neighborhoods and leaving little time for evacuation. Within a matter of hours, streets and blocks that had once been filled with homes, gardens, and familiar landmarks were transformed into a chaotic landscape of smoke, embers, and charred remains. Firefighters struggled to gain control as the fire leaped from structure to structure, engulfing houses, vehicles, and vegetation in its path.
