Linda looked me in the eye.
I held up the letter. “Grandma wrote this because you’ve been tearing it apart for years.”
“I’m not coming.”
Linda’s face tightened. “You think you’re so perfect.”
“I think Grandma deserved better,” I said. “And so did we.”
My mom stayed still.
“You can show up and hear it.”
