Understanding What “Testing Positive” Means
The phrase “tested positive” can sound alarming, but it simply means that a test detected the presence of a particular condition—often a virus or infection.
- The presence of the virus in the body
- The need to isolate (depending on guidelines)
- Monitoring for symptoms
It does not automatically mean severe illness.
In fact, many people experience:
- Mild symptoms
- Short recovery periods
- No long-term effects
