As though she hadn’t slept in days.

“Where is Patricia?” Julian demanded.

Sofia shook her head.

“You don’t understand.”

“Then explain.”

Tears filled her eyes.

“Gabriel wasn’t the first.”

Julian froze.

“What?”

“There were others.”
