Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Oven temperature should be at 180 degrees Celsius 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cook the Meat: Ground beef needs to be added in a pan and cooked till browned. Dispose of overspill fat.
Add the Vegetables and Seasoning: Toss in the chopped red bell pepper, paprika, dried oregano, cumin, and also season with salt and pepper. Let it cook for another 5 minutes or so until the vegetables are soft.
Arrange the Pie: Stretch the pie crust and place it into a pie plate. Add beef and vegetables in the crust.
Apply the Cheese: Top the beef mixture with grated cheddar cheese.
Baking: After 25-30 minutes or until the pie is deep golden on top, and the filling has set, remove from the oven in which you have left the pie.
Hints for Success:
Pre Baking of the Surface: Important for those who wish the lower part of the pie to be crisper. It is suggested to pre-bake the surface for 10 minutes before filling the pie.
Variation in Veggies: Replace or add more vegetables such as mushroom, spinach, or zucchini for a different taste.
